“How can one weigh and shape dialogue till each sentence tears the shingles in the bottom of the reader’s soul?” – Virginia Woolf

My name is Doris Su. I am a 24-year-old Southern Californian who recently moved to New York City in the fall of 2011 to obtain a Master of Arts degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. My program is in the field of high school English, and even though I am training to guide others into the love of reading and writing, I myself am a brand new student to this world of Writing.

This space will be filled with thoughts on writing, creative writing pieces, encounters with God, photographs, and everything else mundane and brilliant. Because the point is to take a leap and just write, right?
